The NEAT (Next Generation Effective Affective Technology) research group is an inter-disciplinary research group at Western Washington University. Our research focuses on Technology for Neurodivergent Individuals, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICTD).
Since 2015, Dr. Moushumi Sharmin and Dr. Shameem Ahmed have been directing the lab with their amazing students. We share a beautiful lab space in CF 406 where we gather every week with our professors to discuss research and life.
